INTERIOR PLANTSCAPE HALL OF FAME
Since 1996 the interiorscape industry's most distinguished leaders have been recognized for their contributions to their industry by induction into the Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame as governed by PIA. The Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame was established to honor individuals of integrity whose personal dedication provided great leadership in the development and growth of the interiorscape industry either as an interiorscaping professional or as an allied trade professional.

The posthumous recipient may be either an allied trade or interiorscaper who greatly impacted our industry. In this way we can continue to remember those who are no longer with us and recall the history of our industry as well as recognize the current efforts of those around us.

The Hall of Fame presentation is made during the Annual PIA Awards Dinner, which is held in conjunction with CalScape Expo. During the presentation, inductees are honored in an audiovisual presentation. At the end of the presentation, a plaque is presented to the Hall of Fame inductee. The inductee also receives honorary individual lifetime membership in PIA. Thereafter, these inductees will be actively involved in selecting the following year's inductees and for coordinating future Hall of Fame presentations.

REQUEST FOR HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS
Nominations are closed for 2008 but please consider nominating a candidate for induction in 2009. We welcome your nominations. Click here to download a 2009 nomination form. Send your Hall of Fame Nomination Form to the Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame c/o PIA no later than January 9, 2009. Nominees may be submitted in the categories of

• Plantscaping Professional
• Allied Trade Professional
• Posthumous Inductee

• Personal contribution of leadership and organizational skills to the development and permanent improvement of the interiorscape industry for a minimum of 15 years
• The extent and breadth of experience and industry activity in interiorscape associations such as PIA, CIPA, ALCA or IPA
• Personal leadership and achievements within the industry
• Personal character and integrity

Nominations for the award will be accepted from any member or group of members of any interiorscape association. All nominations will stay active for a period of three years. A unanimous vote of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee's five members will determine the recipients. To view the Rules Governing the Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame click here.
